We are excited to invite new people to join our Bridgewater Museum Commission board. We are looking for individuals who have keen ideas to share, will diversify our group, and help us flourish!
The DesBrisay Museum is serving a growing community (Bridgewater and surrounding areas) and the board plays an important role in guiding the vision for its programming and ethos. We are hoping to strengthen our board by adding additional members who, in lending their voices, will help us make the DesBrisay Museum a more welcoming place for all.
The Bridgewater Museum Commission is a volunteer-driven committee that works with museum staff to oversee the operation of and long-term planning for the DesBrisay Museum. From programming, to growing the museum’s prominence in the community, the Bridgewater Museum Commission’s mission is to help steer the DesBrisay Museum while working alongside the museum’s private and public sector partners, including Bridgewater Town Council and the Province of Nova Scotia.
