LOGISTICS & ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR
Circulate is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Administrator and Logistics Coordinator (LAC) to join our team. The LAC will oversee the logistical and operational processes for Circulate. This includes site planning and coordinating with various stakeholders. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a thoughtful, friendly and efficient environment. The role requires an analytical, technical skill set coordinating details and logistics. The LAC is a part-time position between 20-25 hours/week requiring hybrid work from home and onsite. The work is based within HRM with potential occasional travel outside of HRM.
Responsibilities
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Manage project management software.
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress reports.
Collaborate with the team to align project goals and objectives.
Collaborate with the team to gather necessary data for proposals and planning.
Lead and manage tasks from conception to completion, ensuring a timely completion within budget.
Research and develop solutions and strategies with the team.
Track and project manage deadlines.
Identify and mitigate risks, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Manage project resources and ensure efficient allocation for optimal project delivery with the Director.
Team led planning and coordination.
Represent Circulate at events, and community gatherings.
Foster a healthy team atmosphere.
Support administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, financial planning and budgets, balance statements and reports.
Qualifications
Strong initiative and heart-centered commitment to the success of Circulate’s mission and goals.
Understand and resonate with the benefits and purpose of Circulate.
Proven experience up to 2 years in logistical coordination and management, preferably in the start-up, service industry with an entrepreneurial drive or background is an asset.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong time management and project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in Project Management software is an asset
Experience with financial planning, balancing books and other administrative tasks.
Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is an asset. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Must be a recent graduate and have a disability.
Eligibility Requirements
The role is $17/hour up to 25 hours/week for a recent graduate from post-secondary (within the last two years). One must also identify with having a disability that can be self-identified due to the role’s funding requirements.
