Position Summary
Nourish Nova Scotia (Nourish) is looking for an experienced Office Administrator to support a small non-profit organization in a myriad of ways. This full-time position will be based out of the Nourish office in Bedford, Nova Scotia, with some flexibility for occasional work from home. Evening and weekend work will be required on rare occasions to support special activities.

Key responsibilities
• Coordinating financial administration including payroll, banking, reporting, budgets,
filing and audits
• Managing calendars, maintenance agreements, insurance, organizational records,
personnel records, and organizational policies
• Maintaining office equipment, software and office supplies
• Managing donor database and scheduling donor stewardship activities
• Assisting Board of Directors, leadership teams, Executive Director and staff as needed
• Other duties as required
Skills and Qualifications
✓ Post secondary certificate and a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience
✓ Experience in non-profit administration and non-profit financial management considered an asset
✓ Demonstrated proficiency in basic accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting
✓ Proficiency in a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Office 365, G-Suite, and database software, with an aptitude for learning new programs
✓ Excellent organizational and time management skills and demonstrated initiative and problem-solving abilities
✓ Strong communication skills
✓ Experience maintaining office equipment such as computers and printers
✓ French language skills and education sector experience are definite assets
