The Strategic Operations Manager will conduct a needs assessment on RRANS internal processes and strategies (including financial, fundraising, data management, and governance)   in order to action updates and changes to the operations of the organization.

Project Management (80%)

Financial Processes
Conduct a needs assessment of current financial processes and systems used.
Develop recommendations for improvements to these current processes and systems to account for the growth of the organization.
Implement recommendations, including possible procurement of new resources.
Fundraising Strategy
Work with the Board of Directors and Executive Director to develop a long-term fundraising strategy for the organization, including a specific strategy for fundraising donations for LGBTQI+ refugee sponsorship costs.
Data Management Processes
Conduct a needs assessment of current data management processes and systems used.
Develop recommendations for improvements to these current processes and systems based on promising practices in data management.
Implement recommendations, including possible procurement of new resources or tools to be used.
Governance Processes
Conduct a needs assessment of current governing documents, policies and procedures at RRANS.
Consolidate and organize current documents, and make plans for future resource storage and maintenance.
Make recommendations for policy development/ creation, based on gaps from needs assessment.
Administrative Tasks (20%)

Participate in regular team meetings, and meetings with supervisor to check on progress of projects.
Develop and maintain a work plan for organizational goals.
Assist Executive Director with other duties, as needed.
Attend LGBTQI+ newcomer training sessions, and other training opportunities as needed.
