CALL FOR BOARD MEMBERS: Our Annual General Meeting is coming up in June and we are accepting applications for new board members until Monday May 12th at 8pm ADT!
The Youth Project encourages applications from individuals who are passionate about platforming youth leadership and enthusiastic about advocating for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Important skills for potential Board members include, but are not limited to:
-A background in youth work
-Experience in strategic planning
-A background in finances
-Experience with policy writing/development
-Any previous non-profit/board experience
-Legal expertise
-Fundraising experience
-Community advocacy experience
Once applications close (on May 12th), the Nominating Committee will follow-up with all applicants. Applicants selected to be Board nominees will be asked for a short bio and photo, and are expected to virtually attend the AGM on June 11th at 6pm.
