About Theatre Nova Scotia
Theatre Nova Scotia is a provincial arts service organization that provides a range of services to artists working in theatre at all levels across the province. From individuals to organizations in the professional and community theatre realms.
Our big event-based programs annually are The Robert Merritt awards for professional theatre in March, and the Nova Scotia High School DramaFest, in May. We also facilitate the PERFORM! Program which sends professional artists into schools year-round. We act as a central hub for the theatre community to engage, we strive to be a champion for advocacy surrounding the arts and theatre in our province, and we provide a host of other services to our members such as a Script Library, a Theatre Partnership Program, and monthly newsletters and Arts listings.
About the Position
The Memberships and Administration Manager is a core staff member of Theatre Nova Scotia. This role serves as the heart of our operations – dealing directly with our members year-round, in all the administrative tasks required to run our services and programs.
This position is a great opportunity for an artist eager to gain skills in higher level Arts Administration or Management, in a supportive and fun learning environment!
In order to create a staff structure that is reflective and inclusive of the membership we serve, this position is designated for applicants who identify as Indigenous, Black and/or people of colour.
