Opportunity
Ulnooweg’s Access to Capital department is recruiting for a brand-new position on the team. This role contributes to the success of Access to Capital’s initiatives by focussing on Partner Relations. In this new and dynamic role, you will coordinate the management of funding proposals, support the development of new partnerships, and support strategic development across the team. This role will support the team throughout the planning and implementation phases of projects followed by the collection and analysis of data to inform future projects and partnerships.
You will be responsible for supporting the management and administrative follow-up with all partnerships. You will collaborate with team leaders and participate in committees/working groups to coordinate activities ensuring alignment with Ulnooweg priorities. Drawing from best practices, methods, and trends you will engage in consultation processes and community relations. Your knowledge of Indigenous culture, history, protocol and matters affecting Indigenous peoples will be an asset.
Responsibilities
- Support funding proposal management: draft, review, iterate based on feedback and follow submission guidelines.
- Strategic Planning & Development: contribute to the development and implementation of plans for capital access and business development.
- Partnership Development & Management: establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Program & Project Support: Assist in planning and implementation of projects related to capital access and business development.
- Data & Reporting: Collect and analyse data relating to funding proposals, partnerships and project outcomes.
- Draft and prepare documents, including summaries, reports and presentations, intended for various audiences both internal and external.
- Coordinates the preparation of reports, including various metrics, or other documents; facilitate communication with collaborators, and collect the data required to produce reports.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to establish good interpersonal relationships and be effective in professional interactions.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Analysing reports and key metrics.
- Problem solving and decision making skills.
- Strong knowledge of RFP, research and proposal submission.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills including the ability to prioritize.
- Excellent capacity for analysis, synthesis and problem solving
