The Evangeline Mental Wellness Hub is seeking a dynamic and driven Director of Operations and Programs to lead our organization into its next phase of growth. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to shape the future of community-based mental wellness support.
About the Role
This unique leadership position blends:
- Executive level responsibilities (75%)
- Operations and program oversight (25%)
You will work closely with the Board, staff, and community partners to:
- Expand services and partnerships
- Secure funding and ensure sustainability
- Strengthen programs and operations
- Grow the Hub as a central access point for mental wellness
How You’ll Make a Difference
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Lead the vision, mission, and strategic direction of the Hub
- Identify new opportunities for programs, partnerships, and community impact
- Drive growth and expand the Hub’s reach in the region
Fund Development & Sustainability
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities
- Lead grant writing and funding applications
- Build strong relationships with funders, businesses, and partners
Community Engagement & Partnerships
- Represent the Hub in the community
- Build relationships with health organizations and service providers
- Bring new programs and services into the Hub
Procedures & Team Leadership
- Oversee daily operations and facility coordination
- Supervise and support staff, including mentoring and development
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-run environment
Program & Project Oversight
- Work with the Program and Office Manager to ensure programs meet community needs
- Coordinate projects, facilitators, and timelines
- Ensure strong outcomes and accountability
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Monitor budgets, payroll coordination, and financial tracking
- Support reporting, data collection, and evaluation processes
