Fund Development Lead (Full-Time)
Boys and Girls Club of Preston | Nova Scotia (Remote with Travel)
Boys and Girls Club of Preston (BGC Preston) is seeking a Fund Development Lead to join our Leadership Team and support the organization’s strategic growth plan.
This is a full-time role (37.5–40 hours/week) offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful, community-level impact.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow a diverse donor portfolio across foundations, corporate partners, and individual supporters
Lead fundraising campaigns, secure major gifts, and write funding proposals
Build and steward strong relationships with donors, funders, and community partners
Contribute to annual fundraising plans and donor communications
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of fundraising experience and post-secondary education
Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of CRA fundraising regulations
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Nova Scotia
Must reside in Nova Scotia
Working Environment
Remote/work-from-home with periodic in-person meetings and events
Occasional evenings and weekends for fundraising and community activities
Compensation
Salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually
